Remove VMWare Suspend State

In Vmware Fusion you might sometimes experience that the virtual machine hangs, and wont restart. You then might have to delete the suspend state to recover your image.

The fix for this is to get inside the .vmwarevm bundle and delete the .vmss file.
This file is the suspended state file, that saves the state of a virtual machine. You will loose all unsaved work that you had running in your sleeping image, but at least you will get back into the virtual machine.

To get inside the vmware bundle, just right click the image file, and choose “show package contents”
